Children/Adolescents

I have spent years working in school-based settings with children and adolescents ranging from three to twenty-one years old. In these settings, I encountered and treated various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, specific phobias, trauma, and behavioral concerns. To address these issues, I offered various modes of treatment, including play therapy, talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy.

I also have experience in a mental health outpatient center for adolescents, where I diagnosed and treated mental health issues.

I believe that a child exists within a family system and that a child’s experiences impact the whole family. I therefore provide support and guidance to family members as well.
